Club dead definetly picked up the pace and delivered over the second book in the series. There was a solid, concrete plot with several good twists and turns.
Bill has taken on a “secret” task for the Queen and it puts him at risk – so much so that he ends up getting abducted.
Sookie becomes a target because Bill’s captors want to use his girlfriend as a lever to make him talk, but even though she finds out that Bill may have been cheating on her she agrees to go to Jackson and try and find out who has taken Bill.
Eric pulls some strings to get a were bodyguard for Sookie, and from there various violence and almost sex happens.
Everything wraps up nicely with a few twists thanks to Bubba.
Overall, I really enjoyed book three.
