Teen Wolf Season 3 – Episode 4

Episode  4 – Unleashed

Summary:

If you haven’t already watched the first two seasons its time now. Season three is just kicking off. Go watch Season 1 & Season 2. They are well worth watching again.

At the end of the last episode Styles has figured out that someone is killing virgins. Yay. (sorry, I mean, OMG, that’s horrible.)

Out in the street someone is getting lured under a dumpster, but we aren’t sure why yet. But there is a lot of scary music/chanting in the background.

The teacher that Derek saves clearly saw what he was, and there is an odd attraction between them. It is actually kind of sweet. I hope it is a new love story in the making.

Meanwhile, during cross country practice several of the alphas attack Isaac. Scott shows up just in time to save Isaac’s ass, but before a real fight can start they find another body strung up to a tree. Another virgin down.

Back at Derek’s house his very hot sister is training, but then the Alpha’s show up and Derek gets his ass handed to him. The alpha leader wants Derek to kill one of his own as part of the recruitment process.

At school the twins set Isaac up, letting one beat the crap out of the other.  Isaac gets in trouble but with Scott’s help they set up the twins with a bit of motorcycle escapades.

Poor Lydia meanwhile is being tortured. I hate the way they torment her.

Styles goes to Dr. Deaton, the Vet, and the virgin/military murders start to take more form as the Vet tells them a bit more about Druids.

Back at the school Isaac and Scott get attacked by the twins and are about to get schooled (haha) but then the head alpha stops the merged boys from doing anything, and punishes them. Clearly the big alpha has something in store for Scott.

Dr. Deaton, Styles, and Lydia head to the school, somehow tying the pain in the ass male teacher to the Druid lore.  Once there they find him gone, but find find the word “Darach” which means Dark Oak in druidish apparently.  A Darach is a druid who has gone bad.  The last we see of the d*ck teacher he is begging for his life, telling his killer that he still needs him.  But the killer doesn’t listen.

Derek doesn’t want to be forced to kill one of his pack members, and tries to force Isaac to leave, but doesn’t tell him why.

Things I loved about this episode…

  • Derek reaching out to the teacher who he saved in the basement.
  • The coach telling everyone to get back to the school, its probably just a hobo or something. Then Scott tells him its a senior, and the coach asks if he was on the team.  LOL.
  • Styles, I love Styles. When he goes off about human sacrifices I couldn’t help but laugh.
  • Derek’s hot sister.2013_CoraHale_TeenWolf

Things that I didn’t like about this episode…

  • Holy sh*t Derek just got speared to the ground!
  • I am the DEMON WOLF – I mean, I am an OVER ACTOR!!!!
  • Scott wanting to run when the twins merge to form the big bad wolf.

Dick on Snowden

Don’t get me wrong, Snowden should get his day in court then get strung up on the nearest tree. I believe he put a lot of Americans at risk with what he did, and also became a potential leak source to Russia and China, who would love to get their hands on him.

But Dick Cheney sent a lot of my friends to die in a desert and they never found any f*cking WMD’s. So he can rot in hell.

Teen Wolf Season 3 – Episode 3

Episode  3 – Fireflies

Summary:

If you haven’t already watched the first two seasons its time now. Season three is just kicking off. Go watch Season 1 & Season 2. They are well worth watching again.

At the end of the last episode Scott and Derek have broken into the vault only to find that  they had fallen into the trap the Alpha Pack’s had been planning all along. To save Scott Allison breaks the containment circle, unleashing rabid werewolves in the process. Derek also realizes that his younger sister, whom he thought was dead, is still alive.

Out on the town, Boyd attacks to children only to be distracted by a jar of fireflies that bought the kids their lives (in combination with Scott saving them.)

Unfortunately Lydia appears to be losing her mind again. Her mental state is not helped when she finds a body in the life guard stand at the pool.

Scott and the “good guys” meanwhile are chasing crazed wolves around the woods, but the body that Lydia found is all the way on the other side of town. Scott is feeling the pressure and figures they should ask a professional werewolf hunter for help. Mr. Argent doesn’t want to help but Scott tricks him into driving him to the crime scene Lydia found, forcing him to realize more people are going to die if he doesn’t help them.

Something very odd is going on with Lydia, and the last time she was having “moments” it was because of Peter.

At the hospital Scott’s mom shows Styles the body of he kid they found a the pool, but the body has multiple wounds that don’t match what a werewolf would do. Styles put a few details together and realizes the none werewolf killer is going after virgins.

With the help of the Argents the good guys trap the two rogue werewolves in the school basement, but as luck would have it, the cute english teacher is working late. Derek goes in, not willing to let another innocent lose their life.

Derek ends up getting eviscerated, but he’s alive.

Things I loved about this episode…

  • Hot female campers making out. Too bad it was ruined by bugs.
  • Styles being awkward around Lydia. It is very sweet, even if she doesn’t get it.

Things that I didn’t like about this episode…

  • So you have something to herd the werewolves and you drive them toward the school? I get that it is nightime, but still, the school?

Defiance Season 1 – Episode 5

Episode  5 – The Serpent’s Egg

Summary:

Alak Tarr is in the Gateway Arch spinning tunes when the biweekly bus transport comes into town. Nolan and Amanda are scheduled to get on board to deliver a briefcase full of money to fund railway construction that will bring in much needed revenue to the town.

The land coach (bus) is also transporting Rynn and a ambassador of a competing political faction who wants Amanda to sign on with them versus paying for the railway on their own.

After Nolan leaves Irisa sees someone from her past, bringing back horrible memories of childhood torture. She watches as the fellow turns down one of Kenya’s workers and ambushes him on the way out. She ends up the fellow taped to a chair and proceeds to deal a little bit of the torture he dealt out to her as a child in return.

Back on the land coach Rynn escapes her cuffs just in time to have Nolan stick a gun to the back of her head. He just gets Rynn secured again when the land coach is disabled and surrounded by raiders. After one of the ambassador’s husbands gets blown away Nolan uses the distraction to shoot a few of the raiders and push them back away from the coach. The raiders end up with the ambassador when they fall back, which forces Nolan and Amanda to attempt a rescue. They end killing the raiders and rescuing the ambassador only to find out she was in on it the whole time. Rynn, who escaped in the craziness ends up coming back and rescuing Nolan and Amanda.

Irisa get’s caught torturing her old friend by Tommy, and almost lets her torturer go, only to find out that she was right the whole time, he was the one. They cut to a flashback and show Nolan rescuing Irisa from being tortured. Tommy loses it for a moment, and ends up being restrained by Irisa as she realizes she doesn’t want to be what her torturer was trying to make her.

I think we are going to be seeing more of the ambassador. After Amanda has her arrested they put her on the next land coach, but as soon as they are on board the law woman lets her go and takes orders to find everything out they can about Amanda.

Irisa and Tommy end up hooking up in a very hot scene at the very end of the episode. What a lucky guy!2013_Defiance_E5_IrisaTommy

Things I loved about this episode…

  • Amanda and Nolan talking about love and being “burnt”. I’m very curious to see which sister Nolan ends up with. Kenya or Amanda?
  • I love the way that Irisa kicks the bad guy from her past in the nuts and draws her gun. Such a minimum of effort.
  • Nolan – “I don’t know whats going through you head, but I know what’s about to.” As he puts a gun to Rynn’s head. Great line.
  • Irisa carrying a snake to torture her old enemy. She’s the hottest girl on TV right now.2013_Defiance_E5_IrisaBehin

Things that I didn’t like about this episode…

  • Seeing Irisa remembering her childhood torture sessions. That sucked.
  • The ambassador talking when she pulls her gun. If you are a bad guy you just start shooting people. You can find the money after they are dead.
