I have three of these Pocket Window Punches, One of them is clipped to my Tactical Vest and I know that if I need to scavenge it is a must have tool to quickly and relatively quietly get into abandoned vehicles and locked up homes. Sure, I may need to kill a few surprise zombies inside either, but getting in quietly means I’m less likely to find a horde after I’ve scrounged whatever I can from inside.
I keep another Window Punch in my vehicle for emergency use. I haven’t had to save a kid or a dog inside a hot car yet, but if it happens, I’m ready. I keep yet another Window Punch in my tool bag and I have used that one to finish breaking a window that was being replaced. It was safer to break the rest of the glass than try and remove the window the way it was.
Be ready, be prepared, and if you survive the Zombie Apocalypse maybe we can have a drink after we bump into each other on the road.
