I first used Potable Aqua Germicidal Water Purification Tablets like these 30 years go. Yes, I feel old. When I was younger I did a lot of hiking on the Appalachian Trail and it wasn’t possible to carry a weekends worth, much less a week’s worth of water, and that mean refilling canteens from streams and the like.
