This guy Almost Lost His Head. Never, ever, look down the barrel of a weapon. Not unless you want to featured on Bad Gun Handling!
Never point a weapon at anything you don’t intend to destroy.
Treat every weapon as if its loaded.
This guy is so lucky he didn’t punch his ticket right then and there…
Why do I show these videos and pictures? Because I like to go to the range and every one of these videos gives the non shooting public a bad impression of the total shooting community.
Always follow the four basic rules of Gun Safety:
- Always keep firearms pointed in a safe direction.
- Treat all guns as though they are loaded.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
- Always be sure of your target and what’s beyond it.
This is a clear violation of Rule 2. Looking down the barrel led this guy to Almost Lost His Head. If he’d been leaning over just a bit more this could have been a horrible tragedy instead of a bad wound.
