So what did he do wrong? Dropped mag isn’t the end of the world – but leaving that finger on the trigger could have just killed the man in front of or next to him.

Why do I show these videos? Because I like to go to the range and every one of these videos gives the non shooting public a bad impression of the total shooting community.

Always follow the four basic rules of Gun Safety:

  1. Always keep firearms pointed in a safe direction.
  2. Treat all guns as though they are loaded.
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
  4. Always be sure of your target and what’s beyond it.

Wear good Safety Gear and learn the proper skills to shoot safety.

This is a clear violation of Rule 2. Keep your finger off the trigger unless you are ready to fire!

I hope this guy didn’t get run into the ground after this. I’m sure he was made an example of after this.

Bad Gun Handling – An Arrow To The Leg

This guy took an An Arrow To The Leg. The only question is who handling the weapon poorly because there is no way this happens without that!

An Arrow To The Leg like this doesn’t happen unless someone screws up. I don’t know who it was, but clearly there was something less than responsible weapon use going on here.

This is why you always make sure that what’s behind your target isn’t something you don’t want to hit.
