2022 Week 36 – Weigh In

Stress is not good for weight loss.

I’m sure there are people who can chew nails and dodge bullets and not have it impact their emotional state but I am not one of those people. I eat when I am stressed. I eat when I am travelling because eating healthy on the road is hard.

2022 Week 29 – Weigh In

So going in the right direction again but man is it hard to maintain that downward trajectory.

My weakness, like money others, is carbs. Pizza calls to me. I’m able to avoid soda easily and have pretty much cut it out of my diet 100%.

But pasta, bread, and pizza is like my heroine. It is so hard to resist a pepperoni roll with pizza sauce to dip it in.

2022 Week 26 – Weigh In

As you can see this week was a total loss. Or I guess gain is a better description. I ate like a horse on father’s day and this weekend was a long Holiday weekend with lots of family gatherings.

In any case, I’m hoping some of this is water weight, but it was a train wreck of a week when it comes to dieting.

2022 WEEK 24 – WEIGH IN

I have been on my weight loss journey for over two years, and while I have succeeded in going from a tight 2XL to a comfortable XL, I am struggling to get to, and stay at my target weight of around 225lbs.

I’ve had two back surgeries, and a host of other injuries over the years that have really hampered my ability to work out as much as I’d like – and when I push too hard I usually end up in bed for a week, so now I am super careful not to push too hard.

Today’s weigh in is in the right direction though, so I’m happy for today.
