The Salem Witch Walk was definitely the highlight of our trip to Salem. Sam, our tour guide did an awesome job making the tour fun, entertaining, and informative.
She is one of the most positive, energetic people I’ve ever met and she did a great job making our Witch Walk tour a fun and interesting event.
What it is:
- A bit of a history lesson.
- A little bit of modern day witch education. (All of which was done in good taste and in a very positive, non judgmental way.)
- A lot of fun with a very knowledgeable young lady.
What it’s not:
- Heavy.
- Scary.
- Dark or ominous.
- A pitch to get you into a new religion.
The walk does make a circuit around downtown and Sam does an excellent job pointing out what was there and what has changed. She also makes some excellent points about life in general that are true regardless of your religion.
Thank you so much Sam for taking my family and myself on this awesome and fun tour. It was the highlight of our day in Salem.
I’d also suggest spending some time in Crow haven Corner, the “home base” for the Witch Walk. They have some very cool stuff and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
