ArcheAge Review

2014_Archage_1

As it stands, Archeage is probably the most fun MMO I’ve played in my life. (And I have played my fair share, Wow, Rift, ect.) The following review is my opinion but let me know where you disagree with it.

Pros :

  • The Graphics are awesome.
  • The in game economy is run by the players, ships transport tradables, and people can farm.
  • Skillset system allows you to make your own custom class.2014_Archage_2
  • Items have a randomizer to give each person a better or worse piece of equipment from quests.
  • You can sail a ship.
  • Game play, although tab targeting, still feels a lot more fun than the average MMO.
  • Gliders!
  • You can make your character the way you want. A mage with plate armor? why not!

Cons:

  • The races are limited, only 4 available as of now.
  • There is occasional spikes of lag to the amount of people playing.

Overall Archeage is simply amazing, I completely recommend this game. I have almost 40 hours of time logged in this game, and for good reason. Whether its worth 150$ is up to you, however.

Revolver Decisions

Okay, so I am thinking about getting a revolver.  I would love to get one of the 9mm revolvers but the only one I really trust is the S&W 986 or the Ruger 5456.

S&W 986:

Ruger 5456:

Unfortunately the Ruger 5456 feels very small in my hand and I’m not in the need for concealed carry.  And as for the S&W, I love the way it feels in my hand as well as the way it looks – and it has 7 rounds which is very appealing.  The downside is the price.  The cheapest I see one is around $1150-$1200 range.

My second choice for chambering is 357.  I’ve got it narrowed down to three models but haven’t held them all or talked to enough people to make a decision yet.
