iZombie , Season 2, Episode 8

The Hurt Stalker opens with Liv sneaking back into her apartment after spending the night with Major. She doesn’t get far before Gilda spots her. Of course Gidla has also been with Major! Gilda doesn’t play nice either. She puts the thought in the back of Liv’s head that getting back together with an ex never works.

Shamble Of Shame

Shamble Of Shame

We then get an introduction to our victim. A woman is under attack and fights back. Just when she has the upper hand someone shoots her in the back. When Clive arrives things get complicated. He knows the deceased. The gun found at the scene is also his. It looks like Clive might be in trouble.

Back in Vaughn Du Clark’s office his daughter Gilda is not happy that Major and Liv are getting back together. Gilda tries to get her father angry but fails. He doesn’t seem to care that their Zombie Hunter is in a relationship with Liv, a known Zombie. We then get taken down into the basement where the Max Rager evil scientists have created a super serum. Because super fast and strong Zombies sounds like a good plan right?

On the murder front, things are getting worse. The victim has an angry message from Clive on her phone. The detective who took over is already convinced that Clive is guilty.

We then get to see Liv make Brains on a Log, complete with peanut butter.

Brain, Peanut Butter, Celery Log

Right after Liv chows down we find out that the deceased was a stalker. The deceased was crazy over our hot detective. Now Liv has crazy stalker brains on board, poor Major.

Clive isn’t having such a good day either. He has been suspended, and then has to deal with Ravi as he explains what a Badge Bunny is.

Liv and Ravi track down a woman owns a dry cleaning company who’s wedding was ruined by the dead victim. While talking to the dry cleaner’s husband Liv get’s a vision. The dry cleaner’s husband has been a bad boy.

Back at home Liv shares that she found “Rita’s” desperate texts with Gilda. Gilda is not happy to hear that Major said Rita threw herself at him. Gilda encourages Liv to get even with Major, maybe hoping she will eat him? Or at least his brains.

Out on the trail, Liv ends up in Chief Walt Price’s car. Apparently our victim also had a relationship with the Chief. The Chief will do just about anything to try and keep the news from getting out. Unfortunately for Liv, she is caught, and end up in jail.

Dead Woman Walking

Dead Woman Walking

Back at Max Rager, Vaughn Du Clark is taking his own strength serum, and while it does make him strong, it also makes him angry. Just the thing to give to your Zombie Hunter.

The Hurt Stalker ends with Liv and Ravi busting the dry cleaner and her brother, putting Clive in the clear. The episode ends with Liv fighting the stalker brain, even as Major’s phone rings with a message from Rita. Liv tries to fight it, but she can’t, and Rita sends a scantily clad picture to Major, bringing tears to Liv’s eyes.

The Hurt Stalker Scoring

The Hurt Stalker scores a 90/100. It got extra points for the hilarious innuendo and the jealous Gilda and Liv interactions. Liv was on crazy stalker brains, but Gilda might as well have been as well.

iZombie , Season 2, Episode 7

Abra Cadaver opens with Major’s dog on the floor, listening as Liv and Major, well, kind of go at it.

Heavy Petting

This leads to Liv asking if Major is really okay. They can’t have sex because of the Zombie Virus. Clearly they can do other things. They don’t show it. So use your imagination. Whatever it was, it was vigorous. Whatever they did do, it doesn’t relieve Liv’s anxiety about their relationship. She asks Major if he’s really okay with the limitations on their physical relationship first. Secondly, she asks if the way she eats and changes with eat meal matters.

The Victim

We then cut to a hotel. We have a victim. Syd Wicked was murdered with a playing card. Prestofest is in town, meaning the hotel is full of magicians and entertainers.

Syd’s brains get turned into some type of bacon and brains treat.

Tasty Brains

Back at Ravi’s house he’s sharing his relationship woes with Peyton who isn’t that sympathetic. Everyone has their personal issues. Ravi feels like his new girlfriend is moving too fast. Major and Peyton are both a little freaked out by Liv being a Zombie still. For Peyton that makes sense. For Major, it seems like a reversal as him and Liv just had some bedtime talk about the very same.

Back on the investigation front, we find out that Syd was not a well liked magician. His fellow magicians hated that he would give up their secrets. His death isn’t being being mourned. It’s cause for celebration.

Unfortunately for Ravi’s girl, she’s moving too fast for Ravi. When he comes back the living room she’s in full British get up. Dressed as a sexy Bobby. Any other guy might be happy but Ravi doesn’t look so happy about it. Ravi does however sleep with her and wait until the morning to tell her they can’t see each other anymore. As she puts it, “real classy”.

Going Full English

The Hunt For The Hunter

While all this is going on, Liv is helping Blaine find whoever is killing the Zombies. They think Agent Bozzio might know something about it and stake her out. All they see is Clive coming over for a lovely evening though. The next morning they break itno Agent Bozzio’s house. Unfortunately for them, they don’t find any information they don’t already have. They do however find a result coming from the FBI lab. The brains in Lieutenant Suzuki’s fridge were human. This forces Liv to falsify them to throw the FBI off the trail.

Peyton ends up at Blaine’s to share that Mr. Boss visited her. They bond over how scary Mr. Boss is. Blaine gives Peyton his number, and she takes it, just in case she gets “scared” again.

Meanwhile Liv has solved the crime, which had a nice little twist. I won’t lay out out as I don’t want to spoil it.

Ravi then misunderstands Peyton when they decide to watch a movie. He thinks Peyton wants a kiss. Peyton shoots him down when he goes for it though.

Abra Cadaver ends with Major slipping out after finding Liv high on Syd’s death obsessed brains. It is too much for him. He’s not able to handle this bit of brains induced mania.

Abra Cadaver Scoring

I’m giving Abra Cadaver an 85/100 as this was a great episode that is Worth Your Time. The twist was well done and the story was compelling.

iZombie , Season 2, Episode 6

Max Wager opens with Major being in a very good mood. The reason is pretty obvious when Liv follows him in. Liv is wearing a long button down that barely covers her ass…ets.

Omelette You Finish

We then cut over to Detective Babineaux as he leaves court, his convict gloating in a plea deal that got him into a minimum security unit. The gloating doesn’t last long however, as someone shows up to take care of business.

Witness To A Witness Murder

Back in the lab, Ravi is questioning Liv as they pick bullets out of the victim. He’s alarmed that if Major and Liv have sex, she might give him Zombism. Luckily for Liv, Ravi cares enough to make her promise not to do just assume condoms will protect Major until he does some tests.

With Clive wanting Liv’s “Psychic” help, she goes to town by making some victim clam treats.

Victim Clam Surprise

Out on the beat, Clive is chatting with his FBI girlfriend when Liv and Major walk up. Liv’s new brain has her betting on little things while Major learns why the FBI agent, Dale Bozzio, is there. The news doesn’t make him feel any better. Agent Bozzio is there to investigate the missing people. The very same missing people that Major abducted and murdered because they were on the Max Rager Zombie hit list.

While Blaine is getting his business taken over by his Zombie Dad, Liv is losing every bet she makes, which triggers a memory of the victim losing big bucks to his bookie, which brings the bookie into focus.

This leads Liv to Stacy Boss, who just happens to also be the target of Peyton’s investigation, which bring her face to face with her target, who just happens to be in her office, and willing to threaten her.

Back at the police station Clive, Liv and Agent Bozzio discover what the victim had hiding in his turtle tank. This leads Liv and Clive (eventually) back to the basketball star, who killed his friend for fear he’d leak their college cheating scam from years gone by.

While Liv and Major are getting hot and heavy, Ravi is discovering that the Zombie Virus passes through latex, making Liv and Major’s passionate plans potentially fatal. Ravi gets to the house just in time to ruin Liv’s plans.

Max Wager ends with Major taking care of Blaine’s problems by kidnapping Blaine’s Zombie Dad.

I’m going to give Max Wager a 75/100. It was a solid episode with some laughs and decent twists, making it Worth Your Time.

Love & Backetball opens with Liv and Major making out. Major wants to do more, but Liv is scared. She doesn’t want to turn Major into a Zombie again.

Love & Backetball: Make Out The Zombie
Make Out The Zombie

Major wakes up on the couch, still human. He makes it clear to Liv that he wants more butshe tells him they have to settle for being friends. She won’t risk him being a Zombie, and she won’t date him until there is a cure.

Our victim for this episode if Mike, a security guard. We see Mike get shot after he turns off the cameras that might have recorded his murder. Once in the morgue, Liv makes a nice omelet out of the security guards brains, yum…

Brains Omelet

We then learn that zombies who aren’t fed deteriorate into something horrifying, and the researchers at Max Rager want a fresh sample of Zombie blood to figure out what is going on.

Mike was a basketball coach, and he clearly loved basketball, because Liv is not an expert on B-ball. We then find out that one of Mike’s kids father’s is abusive and violent. Clive, bless his heart, goes back later that night to make sure the abusive father knows he better not touch his kid again, and then beats his face down nicely.

Liv then plays coach match maker before dropping the bomb on Rita Du Clark that she was recently kissing major. This gives Rita the opportunity to stab Liv with a skewer and get that sample of Zombie blood she was looking for.

Rita is also pushing Major to continue to do his job but when he goes to meet his next target his doubts continue to grow when his business man target’s family, including his young son run to him for hugs.

With another body found, Clive and Liv are led to an expensive attorney’s office where they find the baseball bat he likely used to kill the 2nd victim, as well as blood on the blinds. Live and Clive have found their man.

Major then goes back to Max Rager and tells Rita that none of the people on her list are Zombies. She doesn’t believe him, but for the moment all she can is tell him the odds are low.

Major tells Rita they can’t continue to do whatever they were doing, and later in the evening tells Liv that he doesn’t care if she’s a Zombie, he wants to be with her.

Love & Backetball ends with Lieutenant Suzuki’s widow coming to Clive and bringing him a plastic container that has a chunk of blains in it. Why would his old boss have had brains in his beer fridge?

Love & Basketball Scoring

Love & Backetball scored an 81/100. It was fast paced and had lots of twists and turns and is Worth Your Time.

iZombie , Season 2, Episode 4

Even Cowgirls Get the Black and Blues opens with a bunch of underage kids drinking. They are enjoying what appears to be beer while bragging about their exploits with girls. At least until a car pulls up and throws a gun out the window. Boys being boys, what are they to do but play with a very dangerous weapon? They throw a bottle in the air and try to shoot it.

Weapon Of Glass Destruction

We then get to see Peyton at Dance Class with Liv. The two of them make up, trying to put the past behind them. We then jump over to Major’s hotel room where he and the Red Headed Assistant are in bed together.

Clive and Team then catch a body. A woman has been found in a bungalow. Liv decides that Brain Fritters are the perfect way to eat her lunch.

Brain Fritters

As soon as Liv eats the brains, the deceased starts to take effect. The victim was very into country.

Clive and Liv focus on the dead woman’s ex boyfriend who just got out of jail. He tells the detectives that they should may visit his ex best friend who was also banging the deceased.

Liv’s first vision comes shortly after. She sees the bar manager, trying to get her to exchange sex for an advance on her paycheck. Clive now has a new top suspect.

Meanwhile on the Blaine front, he’s tracked down the dealer who cut the original Utopium that created Zombies – because Blaine wants to make more.

The bar manager has decided to spin his own tail, but Liv knows details that no one should. This leads the bar owner’s pregnant fiancé to take back her alibi claim. She was lying to protect the man she thought was being faithful to her.

Cheaters Always Get Caught

Clive thinks he might have his killer, but the pregnant fiancé is just out for revenge.

While Clive is refocusing on the original ex boyfriend Liv is letting her meal take her onto stage at the country music bar. With country music singer/waitress flowing through her, Liv decides she needs to go talk to Major and tell him that while she knows it can never be, she will always love him. Major basically shuts the door in her face, which should let her know that he agrees. Instead she crashes through the door and Major tells her again that he just wants space, for like the 100th time.

Back in Blaine’s basement he still can’t get the Zombie Utopium recipe from the dealer, and falls back on making him into a Zombie in the hopes that being a Zombie will make him talk.

We then switch over to Peyton, who has been striking out on her search to go after the Utopium dealer Mr. Boss. At least until Blaine comes in and gives her the breakdown of how Mr. Boss moves the drugs. Of course Blaine turns on all his charm, and Peyton is smitten.

Sadly, Major is struggling with his reality, using Utopium to suppress the guilt of being Vaughn Du Clark’s Zombie hitman.

The episode’s conclusion comes down to bad luck. Our victim was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Even Cowgirls Get the Black and Blues ends with Major showing up at Liv’s door, asking for help. When in need, we always go back to the people who truly love us.

Even Cowgirls Get the Black and Blues Scoring

Even Cowgirls Get the Black and Blues scored a 70/100. This might have had an emotionally satisfying ending, but there wasn’t a lot of action or a huge twist on who did the killing, costing it some points.

iZombie , Season 2, Episode 3

Real Dead Housewife of Seattle as the name implies, centers around a group of catty women in a “friend” group. Our victim is telling a friend on the phone how she told someone off. As she’s chatting a man shows up at the door with a huge offer. He’s willing to pay ten million dollars cash for the beautiful waterside home. Which of course gets him in the door.

Our victim takes the realtor out to the deck only to get attacked. In the struggle they both go crashing through the glass guardrail to fall to their deaths. Well, she dies, but the realtor ends up in a coma in the hospital.

We then cut to the morgue where Ravi is working on the victim. He is explaining how the fall had a lot of energy because it exploded one of the woman’s breast implants.

Implans vs. Zombies

Clive finds the victims schedule on a printed stash of papers is his murder suspect’s pocket. The murderer isn’t a realtor. He’s a petty criminal. Because his suspect has the woman’s schedule, Clive is convinced this is a murder for hire. That puts the husband squarely in Clive’s scope as the most likely suspect.

For her meal, Liv makes some nice Tuna and Brain salad, delicious.

Tuna & Brains

We then cut over to Major getting squeezed. Almost literally. Vaughn Du Clark has sent his red headed assistant to remind Major they want results. In this case results mean dead Zombies.

Red Headed Be-Otch

While Liv and Clive discover a link between the murdered woman and Vaughn Du Clark, Major has taken his next Zombie target, and gained a dog in the process.

The next day Live and Clive go to visit Vaughn Du Clark, and Liv gets a flash of Vaughn and her lunches brain having sex. Clearly they knew each other – biblically. Liv and Clive are leaving when two worlds come crashing together. Liv and Major came face to face at Vaughn Du Clark’s door.

Major Rajor

Clive and Liv aren’t being to discrete, and talk about Liv’s vision right there in Vaughn Du Clark’s office. They think they are alone, but the Red Headed assistant has heard every word.

When Clive and Liv get the chance to interview the victims husband, he doesn’t help his rankings on the suspect list at all. Liv asks him if he was aware that Vaughn Du Clark was banging his wife, and the husband punches his hand through a glass table top – so I’m guessing he didn’t?

We then get to see Vaughn Du Clark confronted about his indiscretions as well, by his Red Headed Assistant, and we also find out in the process that she’s his daughter, and the product of one of the previous indiscretions to boot.

For some reason, Red Headed Assistant decides to set her sights on Major, and proceeded to seduce him in the gym. The why isn’t clear. Is it to get even with Daddy? To piss Liv off? Is it just a ploy to get more information?

Liv then goes on a Birthday shopping spree, which lines up perfectly with Clive discovering that the very same personal shopper that Liv is hanging out with, is Clive’s new top suspect. When the suspect tries to run, Liv goes full Zombie, and smacks her around a bit.

Liv is having a sad birthday, at least until she discovers the cake in the fridge. Peyton dropped by while Liv was out, and the fact that Peyton still cares, makes Liv smile.

Real Dead Housewife of Seattle ends with Vaughn Du Clark facing off with the husband of the woman he was sleeping with – who also just happens to be on the board of Max Rager. Vaughn doesn’t react well when he’s told the board is about to vote him out, and he reacts by introducing his opponent to a Zombie.

Real Dead Housewife of Seattle Scoring

Real Dead Housewife of Seattle scored an 85/100. There were a lot of great twists and turns, including Peyton coming back as the DA to go after the Utopium trade.

iZombie , Season 2, Episode 2

Zombie Bro has Liv transitioning from a Grumpy Old Man brain to a murdered fraternity brother. While Liv figures out how to live through such a drastic switch up Major has his own problems. The reality of his new role as Zombie Assassin is weighing heavily on his mind.

Do Zombie Assassins Have Guilt?

Spoilers Below

This episodes victim is a dead frat brother. The fact that it is a young college kid motivates Clive to solve the case as fast as possible. He asks Liv to let him know the moment she gets a psychic tingle. What’s a Hot Zombie pretending to be a crime solving psychic to do but make some brain nachos, right?

Brain Nachos Anyone?

Our fallen frat brother was a real douche. Our first potential murderer is a fellow frat brother who’s life was destroyed by a streaking prank.

Poor Clive doesn’t know why Liv is so different from case to case. He just sees her behavior as quirky and strange. He’s willing to put up with it because her “psychic” powers help him solve crimes.

Box Of Chocolates

Major still doesn’t want anything to do with Liv. All while Liv rides out theFrat Douche brains. These new brains have Liv take her new spy roomie to a frat party/wake.

While Liv is playing frat party detective, Major and Ravi decide to experiment with Utopian. This leads to Liv being called to rescue them from the club after they got totally messed up. Don’t do drugs kids.

Giving Me Déjà Vu

Back on the case Clive leads an innocent college girl on a voyage of pain and embarrassment. They investigate if the girl knew she was the ugliest girl at the frat party. This segment hit too close too home. I’m pretty sure I helped a girl win that award at a college party years ago.

Clive then finds the only costume rental that matches the murderer. The two kids they bring in are sweet – even if they are into some kinky stuff.

Meanwhile Blaine decides he wants to get back into the Utopian drug trade. This leads to him picking a fight with the cities main crime boss – who is literally named Mr. Boss.

Back on the case, Clive cracks this one with old fashioned detective work. The reason he couldn’t find any links between the murdered frat brother and the young man who rented the costume was because there weren’t any. The connection was between the other kid with the frat brothers same name.

It was all a case of mistaken identity.

Zombie Bro Scoring

Zombie Bro ends with Major rejecting Liv’s request to see him before he takes a hit of Utopium.

I’m giving Zombie Bro an 80/100 as it had a great twist and loved getting to meet “Princess Sparkles”.

Grumpy Old Liv is the season premiere and jumps right back in where Season 1 left off. Liv’s mom is pissed that she refused to give blood when her brother life depended on it. But how do you explain to your family that you’re a Zombie who craves brains?

Grumpy Old Liv

Spoilers Below

Ravi and Liv then end up at a crime scene where an older gentleman has been crushed.

Crushed By His Car Crush

Our victim’s brains then get turned into meatballs, sharing its memories and attitude with Liv.

Brain Meatballs

While Liv struggles with her Zombiehood, Blaine is a human, working as a mortician.

When Clive comes to collect Liv her Grumpy Old Man brains are in control. She’s not in a great mood but Clive doesn’t care. He’s focused on what happened to Suzuki and how Major may or may not have been involved. Clive knows something isn’t right, he just doesn’t know what it is.

While questioning a tip line witness we get to see exactly who Liv’s Grumpy Old Man brains are impacting her. I for won love it!

Grow A Pair

The witness gives them a bit of info, which also leads to Liv having a vision. Afterwards, Liv and Blaine have a heart to heart. Blaine accuses Liv of liking the thrill of being a “crime solving zombie”. He then realizes that Liv doesn’t have anymore of the cure that she used on him. Liv begs Blaine for more of the tainted Utopium, but he doesn’t really care. At least not until she tells him that the cure may not be permanent. Liv needs more Utopium to make more.

Personal Trainer

With few job options, Major is forced to act as a personal trainer. He doesn’t have any interest in chatting with Liv. At least until she tells him that Clive is on his trail. Clive is suspicious that Major had something to do with all the deaths at Meat Cute in Blaine’s World.

Meanwhile, the source of the Zombie plague is still interested in their next energy drink, Super Max.

Major then has a Zombie moment when he goes to meet his next personal training client – who just happens to be a Zombie.

Clive and Liv then close out there case, figuring out who killed their old man, which turns out horribly sad. A local man killed the old man after he thought the old man had killed his dog. I have to say I totally get it. If you hurt my dogs or cats I’d worry about the consequences later as well.

Grumpy Old Liv ends with Major being pitched by Vaughn Du Clark, the CEO of Max Rager. They both know there are Zombies out there, and Major needs to do something about it.

Worst of all, Major also gets to hear Ravi on the phone, confirming that what Major is experiencing, is real.

This is all overlaid by Major in his new customers house, killing him.

We then get a bomb dropped on us as we realize that Liv’s new roommate is Vaughn Du Clark’s right hand.

Grumpy Old Liv Scoring

Grumpy Old Liv scores an 80/100. It sets the stage for some exciting follow ups, and had some awesome double-entendres splashed about, making this episode Worth Your Time.

iZombie , Season 1, Episode 12

Dead Rat, Live Rat, Brown Rat, White Rat opens up with Liv’s would be assassin climbing out the water and stumbling up onto the road.

Why Did The Zombie Cross The Road

Confused from being turned, and wounded from the blades of the boat hitting him, the assassin stumbled onto the road and directly into the path of a group of young men and women who are driving a stolen car.

Zombie Road Kill – Kind Of

Zombie Assassin

Things go about as you would expect. The kids can’t report the accident because their victim is dead, so they bury him in the woods. Of course our Assassin isn’t dead, he’s just stunned, and he wakes up just in time to snag the cheerleader, Kimber, before she can escape.

A few weeks later Liv and Ravi get pulled in when Rufus the pooch finds a body part in the woods.

Rufus Has His Foot In HIs Mouth

Back in the MEs office Liv gets a punch in the gut when Ravi finds his Zombie survivor rat “Hope” dead in her cage. The possible cure isn’t quite as close as they thought it was.

With Kimber’s cheerleader brains on board, Liv has turned into a teen. Clive has pulled in one of the victims friends, and Liv totally bonds with her, getting her to spill and play a voicemail Kimber left for her. This leads Clive and Liv to the three surviving youths who hit the Assassin Zombie. The kids are in a band, and rent out a storage space to jam.

Back at the station Clive has watched the security footage from the storage facility, and figured out that the kids could have been in the stolen car they see leaving, leading them back to the storage unit.

Brains Pizza

Unfortunately, someone else has already been there, and there is another body. At least we get to see what Pizza with Brains looks like.

Brains With Pizza or Pizza With Brains

Back at home, Ravi asks Major for some dating advice, which leads to one of the best exchanges of the episode. Major’s humor and attitude are awesome, and I just love the way he thinks.

When Major leaves Ravi, he goes out to buy weapons, and ends up buying a grenade as well. What could go wrong?

With two members of the foursome involved with the motor vehicle accident with the Assassin Zombie, Miss Giovanni, the dark haired goth girl comes to the station. She is convinced she’s going to be next. The story she tells seems unbelievable, at least to Clive. How could they bury someone and have that person climb out of a grave?

Before Clive and Liv can track down the Assassin Zombie, he tracks down Liv, pissed that he ate is grandmother, and he blames Liv for making him whatever he is. Peyton is knocked out cold on the floor, and Assassin Zombie wants revenge.

A short, brutal battle ensues, and Liv wins, but there is a cost. Peyton wakes up as Liv is in full Zombie mode.

Peyton Learns The Truth

Liv comes clean, telling Peyton the full truth and it doesn’t appear that Peyton is taking it well. When Liv goes to get medical supplies for Peyton, Peyton flees.

The episode ends with lots of bad things going on.

Ravi’s weekend with Peyton has been screwed over by Liv’s revalation.

Miss Giovanni has been beat to a pulp.

And worst of all, Major has been captured by Team Blaine, and Blaine has just hired Liv’s little brother.

iZombie , Season 1, Episode 10

Mr. Berserk starts with Liv sitting in an interrogation room. The police want to know how she ended up at her boyfriends house just after he was killed. The cops like her for at at first, at least until Suzuki comes in and tells the detective to let Liv go. Lowell had gunshot residue on his hands, making the case a suicide.

Blood On Your Hands

As Liv is dealing with the loss of her just found love, Clive tells Ravi that he should go check on Major. Clive still thinks Major is having some form of psychotic break. Ravi if course knows exactly what happened, even if he can’t admit it to anyone but Liv.

Sniper Brains

Liv, desperate to get the PTSD Sniper brains out of her system, jumps at the chance to eat the brains of the next body on the ME’s table. It just happens to be the alcoholic reporter who was helping Major investigate the missing kids.

The next day Clive tracks down Julian, and Julian looks just fine. In fact Julian is doing so well he’s benching a few hundred pounds. Clive goes back to Major and does what he thinks is the right thing. He tells Major he needs to get psychiatric help.

Get Help

Major believes he’s losing his mind. He admits himself into an inpatient psychiatric facility. This upsets Ravi, who confronts Liv. Major’s not crazy, and Ravi wants to tell him what’s really happening. Liv just feels relief that if Major is in the hospital he’ll be safe. How is he ever going to live with knowing that Zombies are real? Worse than that, knowing what really happened to the missing kids?

The Candyman

Alcoholic Brains Incoming

Liv, powered with the knowledge that her victims brains are showing her, tracks down the people in the story her victim was working on. This leads to a very twisted revelation from the debate team’s past. It could just be the reason the report ended up in the ME’s office.

With alcoholic fueled brains onboard, Liv goes into a drinking frenzy. When she gets flagged by the bartender, she calls the only person she trusts, Major, to come get her. This leads to a touching, but sad exchange between the two of them.

The next day Clive shows up at the ME’s office and shares that their prime suspect in the reporter murder has an alibi, but he did find some other things out. The tell tale mentions of the Max Rager drink have started to reveal a pattern. People who drink it are going Berserk.

Mr. Berserk

They now have a new suspect. If the reporter believed Max Rager was causing violent episodes, they’d have plenty of reasons to kill the reporter.

This leads Liv to go confront the Max Rager CEO, which doesn’t end well. They escort her out and when Liv gets back to the MEs office Clive is there, and he can smell the booze on her. Clive tells Liv she’s off the case. Between confronting the Max Rager CEO and being drunk, its time for Liv to take a break, and Ravi backs Clive up.

The Fixer

Liv finds another lead in her victims notes, and tracks down the Max Rager employee who had supplied the reporter with data. Unfortunately for Liv and the inside woman, Liv also lead the Max Rager fixer directly to them. The fixer thinks he’s killed them both, but not feeling a pulse on Liv doesn’t quite mean what he thinks it means.

Liv would have been dead, but her Zombie Rage kicked in just at the right moment and she was able to survive.

Liv Taking Care Of The Fixer

Back in the MEs office Liv finally signs off on destroying Lowell’s body, and admits to Ravi that his death was her fault. If she had just pulled the trigger, Lowell wouldn’t have had to try and step up, and would still be alive.

While Liv is dealing with the aftermath of her decisions Major is in the hospital, sharing his story in group. Only, one of the other members in group tells Major he knows exactly what’s going on, and gives Major confirmation that he’s experienced the exact same things, and he knows why.

Friggin Zombies

Mr. Berserk ends with the Fixer from the boat waking up on the beach. He’s cut up, and his eyes are bright red. That little bit of Liv’s blood he tasted when he thought he was the hunter and not the prey, just turned him into a Zombie.

Mr. Berserk Score

Mr. Berserk scored a 77/100 and is Worth Your Time. The storyline keeps you wanting to know what’s going to happen next, and acting is just top notch.
