My youngest is so happy. School has been called because of the snow and the state 0f emergency it brought, and he just remembered that Dying Light releases on steam tomorrow, and all he has to do is download it, (It was a pre-ordered gift from my brother for Kmiss.)
And because he got the pre-order he can apparently play right away as a “bad” zombie and join other players games.
He it totally psyched.

I’m not ashamed to say that I fell in love with this amazing, beautiful young woman while watching this movie. She is sweet, kind, a drop dead 10, and has an amazing sense of humor. Her smile makes something in my chest flutter and melt. She is completely, utterly, amazing in this movie.
My only hope is that she needs a kidney and I’m a donor match.
So needless to say, make sure you watch What If

Oh, and exactly how is Obama beating up in private business? The ultra wealthy and the mega corporations should pay more taxes. They get a hell of a lot more utility out of the system than most people. They move more goods and cargo over US infrastructure than I do, and they certainly have more to protect.
What do I mean by protect? Exactly that. My security system on my starter house was much cheaper than what I have now. Why? Because it was much smaller and I had less to protect. When my house got bigger, so did my security system. Don’t the ultra rich and the mega corporations realize their tax bill is the same thing (in the simplest sense of the word) – they have more, so it costs more to protect it and make sure that the country that allowed them to gain such massive wealth keeps on going.
No one is trying to “beat up” or “take away” anything from those poor 1%ers. I can’t even imagine how hard it must be surviving on 1.8 million versus 2.9 million this year. The sacrifice!
I just don’t understand people sometimes. They say one thing, and then do another.
I am sure this kids parents are pro gun, otherwise how did their kid end up in this horrible clip?
So why would you hand him a large caliber weapon, let him hold it incorrectly, and possibly get injured? On the “kid” front I find this sad for the obvious reason, he could have been hurt. But on another level I feel bad for him because will he ever want to go enjoy shooting trap? Or want to go duck hunting? Or sit in a deer stand for hours? This kids whole view of firearms may have just been clouded by almost having his shoulder dislocated and the huge bruise he likely got from this.
This is just stupid and sad. And it’s also the reason a responsible gun owner like myself thinks that checks and balances are not only needed, but a good thing.
