You have to watch this a few times to pick up the fact that as he releases the charging handle he puts his finger back onto the trigger and discharges the weapon. He’s lucky that he still had it pointing down range, but this is a mistake that could have resulted in a horrible accident. Don’t pull the trigger unless you intend for the weapon to go off.
