Know your target and beyond.
One of the cardinal rules of firing a weapon is so basic, yet results in so much havoc. Don’t shoot unless you know what is behind your target. In this case, I’m not sure if this guy is shooting at the snake, the man, or both, but I’m going to assume he doesn’t want to hurt one of them.
I can only hope this pic was staged and this is not a real rifle. Even if it unloaded I’d still be disappointed. Guns aren’t toys and should never be treated as such.
