The Truth About Our Military Spending

Just so you realize what all those right wingers who want more and more military spending and more wars. It has nothing to do with making us safer. It has to do with the companies that pay them. It is about creating wealth by taxing the populace and putting that money into the hands of the military industrial complex.

I’m not saying we don’t need a strong military. I’m saying you can freeze it where it is and we’ll be just find for a long time.

We Need To Be More Aggressive – How? – That’s Not Important, Let’s Bash The Black Guy

The damn right wingers love ISIS. It gives them the perfect platform to rally for war (which gives all their friends in the military industrial complex who make the weapons lots of money) while at the same time complaining about how the current administration just isn’t doing enough.

I love how Shep Smith actually went after this nut job about what does he actually want to do? What does getting tougher on ISIS mean? The pentagon already says they are hitting every target they have.  So does that mean a ground war? At first this asshat says yes, but is then reminded what a mess that would be and pulls back to limited special forces attacks.

Which is exactly what they are criticizing Obama for doing by asking for limited authority to fight ISIS. But hey, they want him to do more. They just don’t know what that is. They just want to complain that Obama isn’t tough enough on terror. Yeah, the guy who authorized us using a fake vaccination program to make sure we had the right house in Pakistan – before he ordered the seals in to get Osama bin Laden.

You want to know who is tough on terror. They guy who hunted down the perpetrator of 9/11 at all costs, regardless of the political fallout if it had failed.

Bad Gun Handling – Start Smart

Seeing clips like this make me so mad. Will this woman ever enjoy shooting again after this? And god forbid that had been a semi auto and it had accidentally discharged when it was behind her?

Please be smart when you are starting a newbie out. Borrow someones .410 if you don’t own one. Start them with target loads. Then move them to a 20 gauge, and then a 12 gauge when you are sure they are ready for it.

It’s how you introduce someone to shooting so that they will want to continue to do it.
