Guns are Not A Toy. What happens when you treat a firearm like a toy? People get hurt or killed. Don’t follow this example of Bad Gun Handling.
Is this real? I’m not sure. The way they both react makes me think it is.
This Accidental Discharge is exactly why every gun owner should be forced to carry insurance for their weapons. No better way to ensure safety than making people pay if they screw up. You know, just like we do with cars. This example of Bad Gun Handling is why every gun owner should be forced to take a safety class and register their firearms.
Multiple family members are in law enforcement. It’s not fair to them that anyone can go buy a gun without having to take a basic safety class and insure it. The moment a cop get a call to go to this house he should know the owner has a firearm. That should come up on his scanner.
Every gun should be instantly mappable to the registered owner, and incidents like this should revoke that right for at least a year, if not longer.
Guns aren’t toys…
Safety First!
Why do I show these videos and pictures? Because I like to go to the range and every one of these videos gives the non shooting public a bad impression of the total shooting community.
Always follow the four basic rules of Gun Safety:
- Always keep firearms pointed in a safe direction.
- Treat all guns as though they are loaded.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
- Always be sure of your target and what’s beyond it.
This is a clear violation of Rule 1. Waving a pistol around the house is a clear violation of only pointing firearms in a safe direction.
Lastly, be safe out there.
