This Chainmail Shirt is an an amazing show piece as well as fully functional armor. I love gear that serves multiple purposes. This Chainmail Shirt is an awesome show piece that spurs conversation every time a new person sees it. Tell them you are into larping, tell them its a family heirloom and your grandfather wore it into battle. Tell them whatever you can get away with it because it means that when the biting starts, you can put on this Chainmail Full Sleeve Shirt and go full berserker mode against the Zombies between you and your bolt hole.
As a general survival item it is also fully functional armor. That means that when bullets get scarce and things revert to hand to hand combat, you will be protected. It is obviously not as effective as plate mail, but plate is way heavier and more restrictive. Plate is also harder to hide. One of the things I like about this Chainmail Shirt is that I can put it on over my clothes and then hide it under a coat or parka.
