This Portable Power Bank Jump Starter is perfect for multiple reasons. The first is that I can use it to charge my gear, which always useful. The second is that it let’s me jump start my vehicles. I’ve used this to save my wife and kids on multiple occasions. Because I have it, I’m usually the first call my kids and their friends make when they have a dead battery. I usually start getting calls as the weather gets colder. My son’s friends all have older cars and it seems like everyone calls me if they need a jump. Having this Portable Jump Starter makes life so easy. I don’t have to worry about trying to position my vehicle close enough to theirs to run cables or worry if someone is parked right up against them. Nope, just pop the hood and we are good to go.

Post Apocalypse, this Portable Power Bank Charger Jump Starter will be worth its weight in gold. Tow Strap

Having a high quality Tow Strap is a must for your vehicle. When it comes to the Zombie Apocalypse or any disaster, the roads are going to be a mess. It just takes a single vehicle in the road to create a chain reaction that will cause massive traffic jams. The only way to fix that is to tow those vehicles out of the way with your Strap, especially if you are working to clear the roads around your bolt hole.

Want to do the opposite of clear the roads? A tow strap is going to help you there as well. Put a few cars in neutral, tow them to where you want to create a roadblock, and then pop the tires. Folding Shovel

This Folding Shovel is a true multi tool. I keep one in my vehicle. It folds up takes no space but lets me dig out when I need to. I’ve used it to dig everything from ice, snow, mud, and sand out from around my tires. I keep the second one with my camping gear. I like to go off the beaten trail and that means digging a cat hole when I need to go the bathroom. To be honest, I’ve used this Shovel to dig cat holes while driving as well. There are long stretches of road without rest stops and when you have to go you have to go.

This Shovel is also perfect to dig a fire pit. Obviously when its time to leave this Shovel also lets me make sure my fire is safely out. All important details when hiking and camping in dry weather.

When there is snow on the ground this Shovel is also great at digging down to the ground. That’s important so your fire doesn’t put itself out as well as for survival. Snow is a great insulator and you are much better off being surrounded by it and out of the wind than laying on top of it.

Lasly, this Folding Shovel also makes an excellent weapon. If it comes to hand to hand combat this Shovel works well as a mace and a cutting weapon.

This Heavy Duty Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier is so incredibly useful. I’ve used mine to haul just about everything. That includes everything from groceries, luggage, and grills to furniture and building supplies. It is also perfect for carrying items that may bet messy. This High Power Light Bar is the perfect edition to every vehicle. If you go off the main roads this is a must have. Headlights are great, but they are lower to the ground, and just don’t provide the same field of view as this Light Bar.

Snatch Block

This Snatch Block makes easy work of heavy loads. Why struggle when you can easily cut your work load in half or more depending on how many Blocks you have. This Snatch Block lets you move loads safely, a must have for off the grid survival. Keep a few Snatch Blocks in your vehicle and be ready for anything.

These are essentially next generation pulleys. The Block let’s the line loop back on itself. A simple explanation is that you have to pull twice as much line two feet to move your object one foot. The benefit is that the weight of the object is divided by the number of lines. At least if friction didn’t exist. Thankfully the benefits with friction are still huge. Just use line that is rated to over the max weight of whatever load you are putting on it.

The trail up to our families cabin is gravel and mud. It is always a roll of the dice if the way will be blocked after a storm. There are lots of trees and I like to let them grow over the road to make it harder to spot using drones. Thankfully these Snatch Blocks mean I can cut the trees into fairly big pieces and drag them out of the way. Without them I’d have to do a lot more cutting.

Ratchet Strap Kit

I always keep a set of these Ratchet Strap Kits in my vehicle. Over the years I’ve donated Ratchet Straps to other drivers on multiple occasions, because I figure I might be saving a life. Who knows, it just might have been a member of my family they were passing when they lost their load. Carrying an unsecured load, even if it is just a 2×6, could still be a deadly missile at highway speeds.

Do you sleep in your vehicle? These Ratchet Straps are a great cheap way to secure your doors. Loop the Straps through the door handles and tighten them enough to keep the doors closed. Cheap, easy, and quick. If someone is going to break your window to get in, at least that gives you a moment to react.

Post disaster, these Ratchet Straps are going to give me the ability to secure more gear and move it. Combined with being able to grab more gear using my Folding Hand Truck and I’m going to have a huge advantage over other survivors scrambling to get as much gear as possible.

This 200W Car Power Inverter is a must have for your vehicle. This Inverter gives me the flexibility to power tons of devices not designed to use the 12V electricity in your vehicle. You can plug gear into this Inverter using both the regular socket, but also the four USB plugs. Want to charge your GPS, Phone, and flashlights on the go? You need this Inverter.

Back when my kids were little we had one of these Power Inverters so they could use those little all in one DVD players on long road trips. Yes, this was before fancy tablets were on the market – I’m old. NATO Steel Fuel Cans

These NATO Steel Fuel Cans are awesome. They are safe and durable. I love them because I can easily find or make brackets for my vehicle. Because these are squared, you can optimize how many you can carry in any given space. That is really useful because the last place you want to be during a disaster is at a gas station. Post disaster people who didn’t prepare will rush to super markets and gas stations. Do you want to be trying to get gas when thousands of others realize they are too late to prepare?

No, you will already have the gas you need to get to your bolt hole. Safely stored in these NATO Steel Fuel Cans.

When disaster strikes I know I have the gas I need to get to my bolt hole. With these Fuel Cans I have the gas I need to cut cross country and avoid the panicking masses. Be smart, make sure you treat your gas right and rotate it. I have a few, and I use a combination of using fuel stabilizer and cycling the Cans to use the oldest gas first.
