Inflatable Kayak

I love how this Inflatable Kayak fits into a small duffle. At just 30″ X 17″ X 10″ I can take this Kayak anywhere. I live between a bay and a river, and if its raining at high tide I can watch the river start to leak over its retaining wall, or just walk outside and squish through my yard. If you are like me and never know when a road could be flooded, you want something like this Inflatable Kayak to give you options. If I need to go save my neighbors or just want to keep an eye on water levels, this Kayak is perfect.

Of course if you like to hike and want to explore, you can’t beat this Inflatable Kayak.

Which is awesome. You want to use your gear before you need it to save your life. That is easy with this Kayak because it lets you enjoy the water. You can explore, fish, or paddle for exercise.

Post disaster it will only be a few seasons before bridges are destroyed. Without active water management and maintenance many of the structures we rely on every day are going to fail quickly. If you live around water, this Kayak is going to be your way to cross streams, lakes, and rivers!

Fuel Transfer Pump Kit

When the world comes to a grinding halt, those things we take for granted everyday will be the first to go. Once the fuel trucks stop delivering, most people will be out of fuel within days.

People will panic and horde what is left, making things worse.

The good news is that there will still be a lot of gas to be had, you just have to be able to get it, and that is where this Multi-Use Siphon Fuel Transfer Pump Kit comes in to save the day.  Think of all those semi trailers stuck on the highway. If you are lucky the truckers killed their engines before they were eaten, and those two tanks on either side of a semi can hold anywhere from 100 to 300 gallons of diesel. Tool Roll

I like this Tool Roll for three main reasons. The first is that this just looks cool. Whenever I need to fix something and pull this out, there is a very satisfying feeling when rolling it open. The second is that it keeps my tools quiet. I like to use this Tool Roll in my vehicle. Compared to a tool box that lets items rattle around inside, this is basically silent. the perfect gift for anyone who likes to tinker or work on projects and there is something that is just very cool about rolling out the tools of your craft.

The third reason I like this Roll is that I can easily put together a few different kits with different thing in them. That makes it easy to grab what I need. I have one Roll that has the tools I need to do basic electric work, and another that has everything I need for plumbing and mechanical work.

Pocket Window Punch

I have three of these Pocket Window Punches. Why? Because they are a key survival tool to get through safety glass. One of them is clipped to my Tactical Vest. Obviously if I need to get into or out of a vehicle, this Window Punch makes the job quick and easy. Just push the device against the window until the sprint pops and the window shatters. That makes vehicle rescues, when every moment counts, much faster.

I keep another Window Punch in my vehicle for emergency use. If I need to save a kid or a dog inside a hot car, I’m ready.

Post disaster the roads are going to be full of cars that are bogged down and can’t go anywhere. Those vehicles are a great source for scavenging gear after the die off. This Window Punch means I can do that scavenging quickly and with minimal noise. That is important when you don’t know who or what might be listening.

Emergency Laceration Closures

I love these Emergency Laceration Closures. They are quick and easy to use for cuts that would otherwise require stitches. The first time I used one was to close a wound on one of my kids that would have otherwise required stitches. It saved me a trip to the ER. That was important because we were in Mexico when he sliced his leg open with a fishing knife. I really didn’t want to leave the resort if we didn’t have to. Not because I didn’t want to take time off from the beach and water – but because the place was gated and had trucks with machine guns around it. Leaving the perceived security of the resort to visit a local hospital didn’t seem like a great idea. I’m sure their docs are awesome, but my med kit saved us a huge hassle. We did take him to a doctor when we get back to the states. The doc gave it a thumbs up and and we went home.

Obviously these aren’t going to help if you have a really big or deep wound. Or one that is spraying arterial blood. But…they can save the day for tons of other more minor lacerations and that is perfect for camping, hunting, and travel.

Post disaster these Emergency Laceration Closures will be even more important. There won’t be any hospitals to go to when you get cut. That makes them a critical part of your Medical Kit!

You never know when your going to need medical supplies, so I usually keep my med gear duplicated. One attached to my Tactical Vest, and another in my vehicle.

Tire Foam Diversion Safe

This Tire Foam Diversion Safe is the perfect addition to every vehicle. I suggest putting it in a tool bag in your vehicle with a regular can of Tire Foam. Back Seat Gun Rack

This Back Seat Gun Rack may not be legal where you are, so make sure it is before you put your long guns in it. Now, with the legal stuff out of the way, this is lightweight, quick to deploy (or move between vehicles) and is perfect to carry the firepower you need while on the move. When your vehicle is full of friends and family heading out to enjoy a day of hunting or shooting clays this is the perfect way to safely store their rifles and shotguns.

Pre disaster this is a great hunting and shooting Back Seat Gun Rack. It lets you (where its legal) quickly and easily install it and move it between vehicles. That means you can safely store your long guns while driving to the range or the hunt. I have a buddy with a quad cab truck. He can fit one of these Gun Racks on both rows of seats – which is perfect because we’ve squeezed six people in his vehicle so we don’t have to take two vehicles out into the boonies to hunt.

This Comprehensive First Aid Kit is the perfect kit for you and your friends. Make sure you can take care of those minor injuries safely! I like this kit because it is small enough to pack up or strap to a pack but has enough First Aid Gear to handle multiple small injuries. That makes it perfect for group hikes, cycling outings, or even just going out to play some backyard sports with your friends.

After a major disaster there are some supplies that will be worth their weight in gold. Water Filters will obviously be high on that list. Next will be Medical Supplies. Bottom line, you can not have enough First Aid Gear. I suggest planning as if everywhere you might be when a disaster happens is exactly where you will be. That means critical supplies in your vehicle, with your go bag, and more at your home and bolt hole. When you need this First Aid Kit you will be glad you went overboard and had them stashed everywhere you might possibly need them.

Heavy Duty Button Master

This Heavy Duty Button Master has easily paid for itself many times over. My kids, my wife and now all my friends call me when they lock their keys in their vehicles. I may accidentally helped someone steal a care once too. Or at least break into it. I keep my Button Master in my vehicle and I helped a young woman get into her car at the shopping center. The only problem was that after I opened her door she couldn’t find her keys inside. She walked away when I started asking questions and I locked the car door and shut it again. At least she didn’t get to take anything because I was standing there and wouldn’t leave.

This Button Master it may seem like an odd bit of Survival Gear but after a disaster takes out the populace this tool gives me lots of scavenging options. In the short term if people are dead in their cars, the cars are still good to go. But how are you going to get into them quietly and without breaking windows? If I have to drive for a while I like having windows on my vehicles. Or if there is something that might be trying to kill me on prowling about.

Multifold Hand Towels

I love these Multifold Hand Towels. Not to be gross but my sinuses drain every morning. Tissues are great but if I have to use three tissues to blow my nose you see how I could go through boxes and boxes of regular tissues every month. Thankfully I found these Paper Towels. They are so much stronger than regular rolled up paper towels or tissues. I can blow my nose or wipe up spills without having to double, or triple up. As a bonus, they are much easier to store as well. Because they are packed in square packs, they are much more efficient to store in bulk. That makes them perfect for your bolt hole, cabin, or hunting and fishing trips.

I keep these Multifold Hand Towels in my vehicle, gun table, and even on my work desk. Put them in a Dispenser and they go with every décor. These Paper Towels have the perfect mix of softness and durability. That means I can blow my nose or wipe my butt without feeling like I just wiped with sand paper. That is important when you keep them in your vehicle and don’t always have a restroom close at hand. It also means I can clean up spills and messes without having to worry about my fingers tearing through cheaper paper products.
