This Vehicle Camera System is just what you need to remove the blind spots. I like big vehicles. They have better ground clearance. Big Vehicles are more survivable. They can plow through more obstacles. The downside? They have lots of blind spots, both on the road and while parked.

Thankfully this Camera System lets me see those blind spots. It makes it safer while I’m driving and let’s me see what’s trying to sneak up on me while I’m parked.

I love hos this Camera System works. It has a large monitor and I can use the screen how I want. Sometimes I want to see all cameras on split screen. Other times I want to focus on one view. No problems with this System.

Tire Traction Pads

Tire Traction Pads are a must have for every season. If you plan on going cross country, or even across your lawn, these Traction Pads can get you out of trouble. They really are an all season piece of gear. In the summer even the grass median can turn to a treacherous swamp. Do you want to have to call a tow truck just because you pulled off into some grass. Do you drive onto the beach? You know exactly how these Traction Pads can save the day.

Come winter, the snow and slush can easily bog you down. When you just want to get out and get moving, these Tire Traction Pads are perfect. Jam them under your tires, slowly advance, and you are on your way. Just make sure to stop and pick them back up once you are clear. Unless of course you have a Zombie horde hot on your tail.

Tire Traction Pads Scoring

When it coming to keeping your vehicle on the move, these Traction Pads are a must have. I keep a set in my vehicle at all time. I’ve used them myself after getting bogged down helping a buddy get lumber into his back yard. I got in just fine but getting out left me tearing up his lawn and spinning my tires. Blackout Window Film

This Blackout Window Film can be very useful. It’s hard for someone to know what you’ve got in store if they can’t see into your vehicle. That can improve your odds of survival when society falls apart and Max Max rules apply.

Just like a lot of other things, I’m going to give you a legal warning. Make sure this Blackout Window Film doesn’t violate any local laws or void your car insurance or vehicle warranty before applying it.

Okay, now that the legal stuff is covered, there are a lot of things to love about this Blackout Window Film. In the heat of summer this Film keeps my car cool and means my air doesn’t have to work as hard to keep it that way.

The other benefit of this Blackout Film is that it protects whatever gear I have in my car from sun damage. It also keeps anything on my seats from being easily seen. I keep a lot of valuable gear in my car, and I don’t want to come out and find it gone just because I parked in the wrong part of town for a half hour.

That same principal is critical post Zombie Apocalypse, but in reverse. If the Zombies can’t see you, they are less likely to try and bash in your windows – so if you end up sleeping in your vehicle, this Blackout Film gives you just a bit of help in not having every Zombie that walks by pressed against your vehicle windows when you wake up.

This Film is awesome but only improves your survival chances by a small degree. This Film scores a 1/1000.

5 Gallon Bucket Toilet

It is really easy to forget about the basics. Many would-be survivors focus on weapons and security, but forget about the simple things like this 5 Gallon Bucket Toilet. I keep one in my vehicle, and fill the bucket with a box of trash bags, Wet Wipes, and paper towels. Nobody really notices a bucket in a vehicle but this 5 Gallon Toilet has saved me more than once.

I’ve been up in the mountains on a logging roads when a few cups of coffee kick in and driving back to the closest bathroom just isn’t realistic. Sure, I could just squat in the woods, but the reality is that I’m getting older, and this is just much easier to use – for me, and usually for kids as well. Yes, get this 5 Gallon Toilet for the elderly and the young – and trust me when I say you’ll thank me when you need to use it.

Put a trash bag into the 5 Gallon Toilet, do your business, tie it up and be about the rest of your non business business.

5 Gallon Bucket Toilet Scoring

How do this 5 Gallon Bucket Toilet stack up against the Portable Toilet? The major difference is size and comfort. The Portable Toilet is larger, but more comfortable. It is also less self contained though. It is perfect for a camp, but not quite as easily used in tight spaces. Because of that, this 5 Gallon Bucket Toilet scores just a bit higher, but each has their place. I’d prefer the Portable Toilet for a camp, and this 5 Gallon Bucket Toilet for my vehicle and other space constrained locations.

These Garage Door Screens are an awesome addition to any garage. My buddy has a cabin out in the woods and his garage is set up as a bar. We open the garage doors, pull down these Garage Door Screens and enjoy the woods while we talk about how we are natural mountain men – and yes, there is a fan if we get too hot, because no mountain man should be forced to sweat while drinking an ice cold drink.

These Garage Door Screens may seem like a luxury Garage Survival Gear item but once the world ends the number of bugs is going to astound you. Most counties spray for bugs. Survival Axe

This Survival Axe is an all purpose tool that you can keep in your garage, vehicle, and even your office with a bit of subterfuge. I keep one in my garage for those times you just need an Axe to get the job done. Sometimes that is a stubborn bit of vegetation, and others its splitting a few extra logs for the fire pit.

I Keep another Survival Axe in my vehicle. If you see it and ask me why I’ll tell you its for two reasons. The first is that sometimes trees come down on the trail up to the cabin, and its useful to be able to cut larger limbs and trunks so I can pull them out of the way. The second is that the pick end is great to break windows if I need to save someone who is trapped in their vehicle.

If you are willing to get a display case and spray paint the head silver and make a fake little plaque, you can probably get away with keeping this Survival Axe in your office as well. Its an award from the 2014 Lower Albuquerque novice fireman’s challenge. You won first place for opening unlocked doors.

This Heavy Duty Tire Repair Kit has saved me so many times. My car, my kids cars, my wife cars. Flats happen. Thankfully with this Heavy Duty Tire Repair Kit I can patch tires and get getting again.

Things break, and the more you rely on something, the more you need to be prepare to fix it. That makes this Mechanics Tool Set a must have. I keep one in my garage, another at my bolt hole, and another in my vehicle. Why? Because no matter where I am something always breaks. I’ve repaired everything from water pumps and generators to bicycles.

I live out in the boonies and this Mechanics Tool Set has actually saved a bunch of bicyclists over the years. There is a nice long stretch of road going through farmland and pasture by my house. This Vehicle Snow Shovel is a must have for every one of my vehicles. When I gave my old cars to my boys they inherited the Snow Shovels in them. If you are going up into the high country, or just live where it snows, this is a critical survival item.

Why do you need this Vehicle Snow Shovel? If you get plowed in how else are you going to get yourself out without calling for help? Worse, what if you get stranded on a remote road? Your gas is only going to last so long. Don’t waste it. Dig yourself a shelter, and save the gas to use the heater when you really need it.
