I picked Me and My Mates vs. The Zombie Apocalypse because of you, you glorious bastard.
My Mates vs. The Zombie Apocalypse starts off well and is a mix of zombie gore and zombie comedy which made me laugh a few times. Then, just as it was beginning to fire on all cylinders, Jim Jeffries’s character, Joel, dies suddenly and via stupidity. It felt like they were paying him by the hour and realized they used up their JJ budget and had to kill him as quickly and suddenly as possible.
This is a solid Rainy Day movie, and scored a 56/100. There are a few laughs, and some decent gore, it just didn’t finish as well as it started.
