Dead Rising: Endgame is the sequel to Dead Rising: Watchtower, which I reviewed back in June. Dead Rising: Endgame takes what Watchtower was and amps it up a few levels.
The first half is a bit slow, but it makes up for it in the second half with lots of zombie fights, gore, and very good special effects. The movie isn’t that long, but it would have gotten a few more points if it had cut out some of the overall story and concentrated more on the zombie fights, because that is why we are here right?
Still, Dead Rising: Endgame is Worth Your Time and scored a decent 77/100, which is 7 points better than Dead Rising: Watchtower.
Plus, you get to see Dennis Haysbert play the bad guy, which was just a small bonus. As soon as you hear his voice you will recognize him as the Allstate Insurance spokesman.
